SMP is a type of filler or a fill-in process. We are trained to help clients with long and thinning hair, as well as create the illusion of an overall fuller look by adding density. Thinning hair is recognizable because as the hair coverage subsides, the skin beneath the hair can be seen more easily. SMP lowers the contrast between hair and scalp, creating the appearance of thicker, denser hair. When applied properly, SMP can be highly effective and virtually undetectable using density treatments.
